Let’s talk abt feelings

Have you ever felt like someone is not listening to you. Like you can talk to them for five minutes and know that if you were to bring up something that you had been rambling on about they would not have a clue as to what you are talking about. Some people just do not get it.

That whole concept was thrown out the window the other day when I met with my professor from my sophomore year. I actually had a REAL conversation about my STUDY ABROAD, not one of those was it fun? what was the best part? how much did you party?. Those people annoy me. The whole reason to go to Mexico was to EXPLORE a new culture and to be TRAPPED there. No offense to my european study abroaders, but I knew if I had gone to Spain, I would have spent time in Portugal, Greece, France, Finland, etcetcetc. Not to mention the RUINS. Not to mention my HOST FAMILY. Srsly, not a day goes by that I do not think about Rebe, Luis, Adriana, Mariana, Dona, etcetcetc…friggin Lola (she was the worst!!!). It was the most REAL experience of my life, and I’m glad someone outside of the study abroad group finally GETS IT!

Anyways, that is all. If you ever have the ability to talk to your prof, take it. They will understand you (surprisingly) better than most people in your life.
